CO-SPACE

The "Co-space" project is our next step into the future. We want to put our guideline "shelter is not enough" into practice and offer a space outside your own four walls where people can meet, communicate and work together. The idea is a space that is centrally located, accessible for everyone and that brings together different people and organizations to become active together. We are currently looking for financial and material support, a free space in the city of Zurich and partners. The goal of this space is to enable true encounters in order to discuss and work together on problems, possible solutions, experiences and insights.

CO-SPACE WERKEREI SCHWAMMENDINGEN

In January 2018 we were asked for help to build the furniture and repaint the rooms for the newly emerging Creative Space in the Werkerei Schwmmendingen (Zurich). So we built the furniture together with many volunteers. In return, we can use the premises free of charge, for example for our...

CONSULTANCY

Exchanging ideas, sharing information and learning from each other is very important to us. That is why we work together with different organizations, offices and communities to share knowledge and experience. Learning from each other, so that we don't have to start all over again, is important to us.

CONSULTING COMPETITION “VULKAN”

The competition was announced in order to develop temporary refugee accommodation in a meaningful arrangement on the...

We create partnerships, arrange contacts and make successful projects visible in the areas work, education, leisure, rights and housing. More about this under fluechtlingsintegration.ch

ARCHITECTURE IS A HUMAN RIGHT

Emergency Architecture and Human Rights and Architects for Refugees, together with World-Architects, have launched a campaign and movement entitled "Architecture is a Human Right". We believe that architecture, space, city and the built environment play a central role in human rights. We have come together to discuss this issue, to attract and involve as many stakeholders as possible, and to develop a common manifesto linking architecture with human rights. Our goal is to make quality spaces accessible to all. We invite individuals and organizations to join us in this exciting and fundamentally important work.

ARTS IN TRANSITION

Arts~in~Transition (AiT) is a program consisting of cultural events and workshops in the fields of architecture, art and design. All workshops are organized and carried out together with artists with and without refugee backgrounds. AiT offers people with a refugee or migration background and the local population the opportunity to network and exchange ideas. In addition, the program aims to promote the skills of refugees and migrants in the fields of architecture, art and design, not only as a pastime, therapeutic method or means of communication, but also as a potential means of finding their own way in society and becoming economically independent in the long term based on their personal interests, talents and skills.
