EXHIBITIONS

WHY EXHIBITIONS?

Exhibitions are one of many tools we use to reach and inform as many different people as possible. Our exhibitions focus on active as well as passive participation.

SHELTER IS NOT ENOUGH HABITATS FOR REFUGEES IN SWITZERLAND

The exhibition "Shelter is not enough" was our first in Switzerland and took place from 12 April to 1 October 2017 at the Heimatschutzzentrum in the Villa Patumbah in Zurich. Together with the team of the Heimatschutzzentrum we organized the exhibition. The idea is that this exhibition can be brought to other places and presented as a travelling exhibition. At the moment we are looking for a place for it.

SHELTER IS NOT ENOUGH - ROOM 1

Altogether we got three rooms in the Villa Patumbah, which we played in different ways. In the first room we showed the current situation of refugees in Switzerland. We visited a total of eight people at home and took a look at their current home. They are presented in the first room on the basis of texts and pictures. We used this room to draw attention to the current situation.

SHELTER IS NOT ENOUGH - ROOM 2

In the second room, visitors were asked various questions about home, refugees, private life, etc. The aim was that each individual should think about these topics in order to better understand the problems and the current situation of the refugees. His answers could be stuck directly below the questions.

SHELTER IS NOT ENOUGH - ROOM 3

We saw the third room as a room of communication. Not only were our workshops held here, which were also part of the exhibition concept, but you could also record your own ideas, suggestions and experiences, paint them on or discuss them directly with others.
